Christmas at Ryegaard
Visit the small, fine and intimate Christmas market in the old stable, where nice goods are sold - handmade, home-made or other quality goods. Drive in a horse-drawn carriage down to the Christmas tree plantation and cut down this year's Christmas tree yourself. Ornamental fir cuts and decorations are sold at the market place by the manor house.
If you get hungry or cold, you can sit inside by the fireplace and warm yourself with mulled wine, "æbleskiver" (traditional warm Christmas doughnuts), cocoa and delicious dishes with wild game meat.
Christmas market in the old town hall in Roskilde
The stall holders and the volunteers at the Christmas market in The Old City Council Hall are looking forward to warm mulled wine, “æbleskiver” (apple pancake puffs) and Christmas caroling, as well as the smell of sweet burned almonds from the Christmas market on Stændertorvet. While inside the warmth of the old, beautiful city council hall, they help guests find gifts, homemade Christmas decorations, original design and delicious to-go delicacies.
Roskilde Christmas Market
At Roskilde's Christmas Market, you'll find over 100 exhibitors, ranging from hobby crafters to professional vendors.
In 2025, there will be more than 100 stalls in Hall 7 at Dyrskuepladsen. Outside, as always, the area will be filled with food trucks, mulled wine, Danish æbleskiver, plenty of Christmas huts, and activities for children.
