Great nature in Nature Park Amager awaits you, and it is just a 15-minute ride from Copenhagen city centre. Getting here by bike is easy, but the metro will also take you and your bike right to the doorstep. The area is  a very popular preserved wide-ranging nature park.

Gemini Residence to Byskoven

Follow the bike route “Havneringen” from Bryggebroen, riding through the residential area Havnestaden and passing through Nokken – an allotment society with creative and colourful houses.

Byskoven

In 2017, 25,000 trees were planted here to form a new forest in Copenhagen, Byskoven. While the trees are still small, the area is a field of blooming flowers during summer. You are welcome to pick flowers here and go for a swim.

Himmelhøj

The nature playground Himmelhøj “sails” out at Amager Nature Center in the shape of a 60 meter-long ship, Amagerarken. Also, don’t miss a visit to the Insect Forest next to Himmelhøj.

Nature Center Amager

Nature Center Amager is the perfect starting point when exploring Amager Nature Park. Stop here for some great tips on how to enjoy the beautiful nature. Relax at the picnic tables or by the bonfire. It is also possible to rent bikes here.
