SV-Festival
SV-festival focuses on fresh music and vibrant local culture, bringing together a diverse, all-ages programme. With a mix of edge and colour, it aims to spark social and cultural connections - supporting youth culture, gender equality, and showcasing music that’s both experimental and in tune with what’s happening in society.
The festival aims at creating a space for today’s music while also pushing its boundaries. Along the way, it hopes to inspire, engage, and show how music - on its own or combined with other creative arts - can be a powerful way to bring people together, drive cultural change, and make a real impact in the city.
Highlights from the 2026 line-up:
FREJA KIRK
One of the most talked about voices on the alt-pop scene in recent years, known for her vulnerable, text-based songwriting with a focus on gender identity, will give a duo concert on June 4th at 7 pm at KLEIN.
MATHILDE FALCH
Singer-songwriter and storyteller Mathilde Falch will give a concert on Friday, June 5th at 8 pm at KLEIN in a trio format - a more subdued version of the songs, where the melodic and lyrical aspects get more space.
VALBY VOKALGRUPPE + THE YOUNG SYDHAVN
The festival has a strong local dimension with ensembles and initiatives that draw roots directly into the neighbourhood. Valby Vokalgruppe with a focus on a sonic and trance-creating take on vocal choirs, and ‘Det Unge Sydhavn’ are two of the names that highlight how SV-festival is also a celebration of musical community in the local Sydhavn/Valby area.
ARS NOVA COPENHAGEN
One of Denmark's most internationally recognised vocal ensembles, known for their unique interpretations of both new and old choral music. To experience Ars Nova in the more intimate setting out at BaneGaarden on June 7th at 2 pm is a rare opportunity - most of their concerts often take place on large stages.
