Christmas tree lighting in Carlsberg City District
Celebrate the first Sunday of Advent in Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen's former brewery district, as the neighbourhood's tallest Christmas tree lights up Bryggernes Plads.
From 3 pm, the square will come alive with festive cheer, featuring a choir singing Christmas carols and stalls offering seasonal treats and quality goods. Visitors of all ages can enjoy an afternoon of music, Christmas traditions and a welcoming atmosphere.
At 4 pm, children and adults will gather around the tree for a countdown before a special Christmas guest switches on the lights.
The annual Christmas tree lighting has become a much-loved local tradition, bringing residents and visitors together to welcome the festive season. Everyone is welcome to join the celebrations.
