Christmas at Højbro Plads

A new Christmas market opens at Højbro Plads for the first time, bringing together Christmas traditions from Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Visitors can explore decorated wooden stalls offering handmade Christmas decorations, crafts, gift ideas and seasonal food and drinks. Throughout the market, different traditions, flavours and stories offer an introduction to Christmas across the three countries.

The programme also includes music, entertainment and activities for children and adults. Younger visitors can meet magical talking trees that come to life to tell a Christmas story created especially for the market. There are plenty of opportunities to browse for gifts, discover different Christmas traditions and enjoy seasonal treats along the way.
