Copenhagen Sprint - World Tour Cycling
20–21 June 2026, Copenhagen Sprint – Denmark’s new international cycling race and part of the UCI WorldTour – rolls out from Roskilde and finishes in the heart of Copenhagen. You can join in – either by watching along the route or by taking part in the many activities happening around the race.

Christmas market at Nytorv
Here you can experience true Christmas spirit with cosy stalls, handicrafts, Danish design, and delicious holiday treats. The scent of mulled wine, hot cocoa, and traditional Danish pancake puffs (æbleskiver) fills the square, while lights and Christmas music create the perfect atmosphere. Admission is free.
Hubertusjagt
The traditional horse obstacle race is an old hunting tradition in The Deer Park. Today, around 100 brave riders in red jackets face the challenging obstacles scattered throughout the beautiful park.
Lucia in Kayak
Come and join this annual event at Kayak Bar, where they light up the night with beautifully decorated kayaks.
Get ready to be wowed by the fancy kayaks and feel the unity in the air. If you’ve never tried kayaking, don’t worry, they’ve got you covered! You can paddle your own kayak or rent one from Kayak Republic.
Culture Night
Look forward to the autumn's most magical evening with a magnitude of exciting events and special experiences and with the streets of Copenhagen awash with happy people.
Culture Night is the biggest annual one-day event in Copenhagen with more than 200 organisers, including museums, theatres, churches, ministries and libraries opening their doors to welcome the public to an unforgettable evening in the rich and diverse world of culture.
Holmegaard Christmas Market
Explore more than 120 stalls filled with some of the country's finest artisans and designers. Here, you can discover extraordinary treasures as the museum's impressive halls are filled with crafts and designs – from unique artworks to ceramics, glass, jewellery, clothing, and much more.
The price includes admission to the exhibition buildings at Holmegaard Værk. The regular price for this is DKK 159. Please note that activities in the Christmas gift workshop, as well as glassblowing your own bauble or having your hand cast in glass, require an additional fee.
