Christmas at Ryegaard
Visit the small, fine and intimate Christmas market in the old stable, where nice goods are sold - handmade, home-made or other quality goods. Drive in a horse-drawn carriage down to the Christmas tree plantation and cut down this year's Christmas tree yourself. Ornamental fir cuts and decorations are sold at the market place by the manor house.
If you get hungry or cold, you can sit inside by the fireplace and warm yourself with mulled wine, "æbleskiver" (traditional warm Christmas doughnuts), cocoa and delicious dishes with wild game meat.
Christmas market in the old town hall in Roskilde
The stall holders and the volunteers at the Christmas market in The Old City Council Hall are looking forward to warm mulled wine, “æbleskiver” (apple pancake puffs) and Christmas caroling, as well as the smell of sweet burned almonds from the Christmas market on Stændertorvet. While inside the warmth of the old, beautiful city council hall, they help guests find gifts, homemade Christmas decorations, original design and delicious to-go delicacies.

The whole family can easily spend a whole day together in this Christmas market.
Valhalla of the Vikings
Experience the autumn of the Vikings both indoors and outdoors when bonfires and Viking tents fill the beach where the Viking ships are docked, returning home for winter from their raids. Help the Vikings get ready for the cold by building boats and baking "Viking biscuits" over a fire or train for the next voyage. Learn to throw with mooring rope or fight like a Viking with sword. Show your courage to the god Tyr and help him regain his lost courage by solving a series of tasks.
Halloween in Tivoli
Halloween in Tivoli is an experience for all ages. Meet the witches in the beautiful autumn universe filled with creepy frogs, spiders, crows, and more than 20,000 pumpkins. Find decorations and autumn goodies in the stalls, be mesmerized by the beautiful lights, and be awed by the giant pumpkins.
