Christmas at Kronborg Castle

Christmas comes to Kronborg Castle in December, when the historic courtyard is decorated for the festive season and a Christmas tree lights up the grand ballroom.

Visitors can join a special Christmas tour and hear the castle hosts share stories about Christmas at Kronborg, or explore the castle exhibitions at their own pace. Younger visitors can take part in a yule goat hunt around the castle, with the chance to win a prize.

A visit can be rounded off in the castle courtyard with a warming drink and æbleskiver - traditional Danish pancake treats - while enjoying the Christmas atmosphere within Kronborg’s historic walls.
