48 Timer Festival

48HOURS Festival transforms Nørrebro into one big, vibrant celebration of culture. Over 48 hours, the neighbourhood comes alive with art, music, performances and unique experiences created by local artists, community groups, businesses and passionate creatives.

The festival invites both Copenhageners and visitors to explore everything personal, quirky and offbeat that makes Nørrebro truly distinctive. Streets, squares, shops and parks become stages for a diverse programme of events and experiences open to everyone.

Since its launch in 2012, 48HOURS Festival has grown to attract almost 20,000 visitors and more than 50 cultural events. The festival is created in close collaboration with Nørrebro’s cultural centres and a wide network of local partners and volunteers - a true celebration of community, creativity and urban life.
